How do I know if something is asbestos?
You often can’t tell by looking. The only way to be sure is to have a sample taken and tested. Send us a photo or book a sample test and we’ll confirm it one way or the other.
What's the difference between a survey and a sample test?
A sample test checks one specific thing, like a garage roof or a floor tile. A survey looks at the whole property to find and record everything that contains asbestos. We can do either.
Do I need an asbestos survey to buy or sell a house?
There’s no legal requirement for a normal home, but plenty of people want to know what’s there before they commit, or before they answer a buyer’s questions. It costs less than most people expect, and it answers the question for good.
Do landlords need an asbestos survey?
If you let property, you have responsibilities around asbestos, particularly in older buildings and shared areas. A survey helps you understand what’s there and manage it properly.
How quickly do I get the results?
