Thousands of garages across Yorkshire were built with asbestos cement roofs and panels, mostly from the 1950s through to the 1980s. If yours is grey, corrugated and getting on a bit, there’s a good chance it’s asbestos.
It’s safe to leave alone while it’s in good condition, but the moment you want to replace the garage, do it up, or the roof starts breaking down, it needs removing by someone who knows what they’re doing.
That’s most of what we do. We remove the roof, the panels, or the whole garage, take it all away, and hand you the paperwork that proves it was disposed of legally.

How do I know if my garage roof is asbestos?
If it’s grey, corrugated cement and the garage went up between the 1950s and 1980s, it’s very likely asbestos. You can’t tell for certain by looking, so if in doubt, send us a photo and we’ll tell you.
How much does asbestos garage removal cost?

Do you remove the whole garage or just the roof?
Whichever you need. We can lift just the asbestos roof, take the roof and panels, or clear the full garage and leave you a clean site.
Can I remove my asbestos garage myself?
Some of it is legal for homeowners to do, but it has to be handled, bagged and disposed of correctly at a licensed facility. Most people would rather we deal with it and hand over the paperwork. If you’ve already taken it down, we can collect and dispose of it.
How long does it take?
Most standard garages are done in a day, often less. We’ll tell you what to expect when we book you in.
Will I get paperwork?
Yes. You get full Duty of Care documentation proving the asbestos was disposed of legally. Worth keeping for when you sell the house.
