Taken it down yourself? We'll get rid of it properly

Removing the asbestos is one thing. Getting rid of it legally is another. You can’t put it in the bin, and most household tips won’t take it, or only take tiny amounts with an appointment.

That’s where we come in. If you’ve already stripped an old garage roof, pulled down a shed or found stacked cement sheets in the garden, we’ll collect the lot and dispose of it at a licensed facility. You get the Duty of Care paperwork to prove it was done right.

We collect up to one tonne per visit, which covers most domestic clear-ups in a single trip.

You can't just take it to the tip

Asbestos is classed as hazardous waste. It can’t go in your bin, it can’t go in a skip, and fly-tipping it is a criminal offence that carries a heavy fine. Even where a tip does accept it, you’re usually limited to a few sheets and an appointment.

We’re a registered waste carrier, so every load is tracked from your door to a licensed disposal site. The Duty of Care documentation you get is your proof it was handled and disposed of legally, which matters if anyone ever asks.

What Our Clients Say

Common Questions

Quick answers to the questions we get asked most about asbestos removal.

Can I take asbestos to the tip myself?

Usually not, or only a few sheets by appointment. Asbestos is hazardous waste, so it can’t go in your bin or a skip. It’s simpler to let us collect it and hand you the paperwork.

Up to one tonne per visit, which covers most domestic clear-ups in a single trip. If you’ve got more, give us a call and we’ll sort it.

If it’s already bagged or double-wrapped, great. If not, send us a photo and we’ll tell you how, or we’ll bag it safely when we arrive. Don’t break sheets up to make them fit.

It depends on how much you’ve got. Send us a photo with a rough idea of the quantity and we’ll price it with no obligation.
